Sorry it took me forever to reply to your message...
From what her doctor says, she is missing 85% to 95% of the 3 beta enzyme. Her stress response and salt is normal. He is only treating her androgen path and her blood analysis has been coming back normal with the single dosage of Cortef. We have sent her blood to a lab in France for genetic sequencing to verify her diagnosis. When my daughter is 2 years old, they will repeat the ACTH stimulation test and re-evuluate her medicine. Her stimulated numbers were quite high so her doctor isn’t optimistic she will ever come off the Cortef, but it’s a possibility. It’s all so confusion since she has a more rare form of CAH than most of the cases on this website. Thanks to everybody for the support/info of my child’s size. I worry too much about everything concerned with her. She is an adorable chunck monkey!
