if treated properly swcah people have normal life expectancies according to the research that has been done. of course, having other health issues (like the rest of the population can have) can alter that. one question.....if you are 53 and have classic cah, why have you only been treated for 40 years??? what about the first 13 of  your life? i can’t imagine one could survive for 13 years untreated if you were a saltwaster, esp. in infancy.
