raise awareness: tell your story
Jan. 31st, 2005   6:22pm

Dear all,

My name is Angela and I write for a teen magazine in the UK.   I first heard about CAH when I read about a British singer called Lisa-Lee Dark, who talked openly about her experience of CAH and the fact she was raised as a male, despite being a woman.

Her story, and her determination to educate people about CAH, was inspirational and I am looking for someone like Lisa to talk to our teenager readers about their own personal experience of CAH.

Ideally, I would like to talk a teenage girl aged between 14-19 (from anywhere in the world) who would like to feature in a real-life story in our magazine.

The story would be tactfully and sensitively told and it is our policy to read back the story to ensure the girl is 100% happy with it.

We can pay a fee for your story or make charity donation on your behalf - it's  your call!

If you are interested (or know anyone who might be interested) in being interviewed, please drop me an e-mail on [email removed by Admin]

I am happy to answer any queries you may have.

Kind Regards

Angela
