Margaret,

I have twin girls who are two, both with SWCAH. They have received all of their vaccines on schedule since birth. We give Tylenol before and after like the other posters as well as doubling their Cortef dose the day of the vaccines. At the 4 and 6 month shots, they had fevers (102) and soreness, but the Tylenol kept in under control as well as the extra Cortef.

My mom says that my kids have handled shots better than any of her kids (non-CAH), so I wouldn’t get too worried. All kids handle them differently, whether they have CAH or not. I would make sure I had Tylenol and plenty of Cortef before I got them though.
