People with CAH are different, they take medication to keep them alive and well. There is prejudice when buying insurance, getting a mortgage, and sometimes with employment!  If you were faced with hiring two people who have the same qualifications and experience, one has a medical condition and one hasn’t, who would you choose? Of course people can be prejudice even though they say they will not be - known medical conditions can put off employers! People with CAH are also not accepted into some lines of employment.  If people want to choose to apply for SSI, who are we to judge them and I wish them luck!  I would rather see my taxes paid towards helping someone with a medical condition, than on some war!
