Thanks to all the moms who have answered me! My son is taking Florinef and Orapred (Prednisone). One of the side effects of Orapred is that it makes patients susceptible to chicken pox, measles and TB. It warns patients not to have any vaccines or immunizations without consulting the doctor. So I will clarify this before any vaccines are given to my son.

Also, what is Cortef? We live in Hawaii and my son’s pediatrician endocrinologist recommends that in cases of emergency, that we go to the emergency room. We have not been given an emergency kit although I have asked.
