I have read nmay times that the teacher is the first to know when the levels are off!  As far as learning disabilities, unless their has been brain damage, I know of no disabilities.  My daughter is extremely smart.  She definately inherited much of it (hubby’s side is very logical and mathmatical smarts, mom’s isde more language) Anyway, she will start Kindergarten next year but as a 3/4 grade teacher myself, my suspician is she will have problems in the talking area and possibly focus and her stubborness.  (In preschool, the teacher has them write their names to sign in everyday.  My daughter refused after a while saying she already knew how to do it!  Even though her handwriting needs much improvement!)  Julia
