My SWCAH son had a severe adrenal crisis at birth in which we almost lost him. He has absolutely no adverse effects from this crisis. Today he has grown to become a very intelligent well rounded five year old boy! According to his teachers he is one of the brightest in the classs and although his is in Kindergarten he already reading on a first grade level. Here is a quote from his last report...
...is an absolute joy to have in our class! His sweet and helpful nature add such a wonderful dynamic to our classroom. He is an enthusiastic learner who is always eager to participate. His sharing, compasionate and easy going personality has made him many friends. He continues to do his very best on a daily basis and is doing exceptionally well in all areas. I look forward to a very positive year!
Personally, I fully believe that CAH has absolutely NOTHING to do with ones abilities to learn. In my opinion as a mother of four and an elementary teacher, what really contributes to a child’s learning is having caring teachers and the support of his parents!
