I totally agree with N - WHO was answering the question - my child was so dehydrated that the brain dried out and they battled to save my child’s life! Heart stopped too - so N is quite right.  I also did not see this post as a chance to brag about kids.  Do you really think that medical papers would be written for fun? M was pointing out that these things CAN happen and have happened NOT that they will happen. I do not see it is trying to stir the pot - just answering the original question.  There is also a study to probe that CAH children are not brighter than others, perhaps it is the time because they are special to us, that we spend with them?
