My nephew was diagnosied when he was 3.  He was the youngest to be diagnoised in Minnesota at that time.  That was17 years ago.  He came off the meds when he was 16 (and yes they do not always need it forever:)  and is now in college and doing very well.   I do believe in taking meds when they are needed.  I just know that now a days it seems that there are alot more being diagnoised with something or other.  And yes make sure your ped.  does all the correct testing.  There was an article about ADD and more.  I will look for and it and send it to you.  There are several doctors doing studies on this.   I found it to be very interesting.  Good luck with your daughter, and God is watching over her.
