My son does not carry around his meds.  He is on cortef 3x daily.  He takes his meds on a regular basic.  He does carry around a cell phone and nows that if he is not feeling well at all (i.e stomach upset, headache or just not feeling himself) he is to call us immediately. (which he has done)  It has been hard explaining to a 14 year that they have a condition that is very serious and could be life threating.  Since I have found this broad he has been reading and is now starting to understand that we are not just over protected parents that won’t let him do anything!! Until we had are daughter non-CAH, he thought all kids had to take meds.  I hope in my heart that he will not try any type of drugs!!!
