Wayne, you are not weird, you are unique! The reason why I ask about your dosing schedule is because I know that cortef only last 6 to 8 hours. After that you would be bound to be fatigued, because your adrenals aren’t running on much of anything. I am happy to see that you are on a good dose of hydro. Many doctors still tend to over-medicate cah patients. There are plenty of 20and 30-something year olds lurking around here that have osteoporosis, or at least the beginnings of. There are also many children to adults that have stomach problems, even ulcers and bleeding stomachs due to steroids. So it may not have been until the last ten years that we have been able to even search out a doctor that would be knowledgeable in cah. I mean really knowing how to manage the condition, not just dish outs tons of steroids without knowing how to fine tune them to maintain healthy levels. I have read that many adults actually feel much better when the 17 ohp levels are a little higher than they should be even for cah. Which is usually 300 to 1000ng/dl. Which leads me to believe that maybe we still don’t need as much as they think.

I would think that splitting your dose would not be as harsh on your body as one large dose. Also do you have lab work done often? What are your 17 ohp levels like? Since you have to take testosterone shots how do they know if your androgens are in check? I wish you to be well.....

Sorry about all of the questions. I am just curious, take care...glad you posted.
