I have to agree with Valerie.  Danny has a very valid point,but there are some children who do suffer with ADHD.  I have a nephew who did and was put on a very low dose of Ritalin.  It helped him tremendously.  What the dr and his parents told him was that the Ritalin would help him,but he was the one who ultimatelyl had to control his own behavior.  He was/is an exceptional student.  He applied for and attended our county’s Math and Science Center for high school and will graduate from Ga Tech with a degree in Engineering and another in Physics this Spring.  He is considering getting a Law Degree and using his Engineering and Law Degrees together in the future.  He is by far one of the brightest and most creative kids I have ever known.
