I am always amazed at how nosy people can be RE: Medic Alert.  When anyone other than close friends or family has asked us about it, our conversation usually goes like this:

NOSY PERSON: "Why does he wear that?"

US:  "For a medical condition."

NOSY:  "Yeah, but what does he have?"

US:  "A medical condition."

Usually by the second for third round, along with a very pointed stare from me, they realize it’s none of their business and back off, but for those that persist, I give a very snippy "Sorry, but we don’t discuss our son’s private business with strangers." 

At first, I thought it my duty to educate the world about CAH every time anyone asked about Gav’s bracelet; not I realize those people could care less and they’re just nosy, so I don’t waste my time.
