I have two SW CAH boys,  6 and almost 9,  I would not trade them for the world,  it gets so much easier and the boys rarely get sick.  My kids have not been hospitalized since they were babies.   My kids stay healthly, lots of sleep, good nutrition and excercise.  I do not baby my kids and you would not know anything was wrong with them.  They both do great and school and are nice happy kids.

I had great reservations about having other children after the CAH but I am so happy I did,  they will always have each other and it is just the way our family is, no one is the sick one or the special one...

You will find as your child gets older the illness get easier to handle.
