I have only one child and he has SWCAH.  He turned 4 on Saturday, and like you during the first 6 monthes of his life I thought there is no way I’m having other children because this is way too stressfull.  But this summer I plan on trying to conceive, and I pray the baby is healthy, and of course I would prefer for it to not have CAH, but oh well if it does.  We will deal with it.  Actually Carter’s CAH has not caused him to be overly sick.  We have had 2 broken arms and one of those required a hospital stay.  We have had one stomach flu which required a trip to the ER to get IV fluids.  I have been overprotective in the past, but I am much better now.  But when they are little it is just too scary to take chances.  Luckily he didn’t have to go to daycare until he was 18 monthes so that cut down on illness.
