I also have a daughter with SW cah, and too when she gets ill I feel that sometimes I may go over board.  I think that the idea is a good one.  For I find that when my daughter gets ill we need to increase her prednisone all the time just to make her feel like her self.  With the test we as parents would actual know if they need that dose or not at that time.
