I also have a daughter with SWCAH ( it is slight salt wasting). I would take your daughter to the endo and ask them to test for precocious puberty. Yes, puberty is starting earlier these days, but with the advanced bone age, body odor, etc. I would have her checked. If she tests positive, they may wish to put her on an injection called Depot Lupron. It is given monthly and it will stop puberty right in its tracks. My daughter took this from the age of 5 until she was 13. She also had the advanced bone age and other signs. Once we started the shots, her bone age slowed down, her growth slowed down (good sign - slower growth, but for a longer period of time resulting in greater overall height), and the body odor and breast development stopped. When she was 13 it was time to let puberty progress and withiin 18 months she had her first monthy menstrual cycle and continued to develop. If your daughter were mine, I would get to the endo as soon as possible and inquire about the test for precocoius puberty. By the way, what is her bone age at this time?kay
