Welcome!  My SWCAH daughter turned 1 in December.  This board is a great place to come when you need advise, a place to vent, to cheer & cry.  My daughter has never been heavy..she has the opposite problem, I can’t get her to gain weight.  She is having difficulty with her growing (heels may be in her future) the doctor is watching her close.

As for surgery, that is controversial.  All I can say is contact Kelly at Cares Foundation, do as much research as possible & ask lots of questions to everyone  you can.  My daughter did have surgery, and I would be happy to answer any questions you have about it or anything else..I don’t come to the site much right now due to health issues of my own, but if you click on my name it will send any questions to my e-mail.
