We are in Oregon.  Dr. Boston at Doerenbechers Children Hospital in Portland is our endo and has been wonderful.  Portland is a 4 hour drive so it is a two day trip for us.  With a toddler and the length of the appts its easier to stay overnight.  We see him every other month right now.  All of her labs have been coming back great and the doctors seem very pleased.  We will be going every other week to the pediatrician for labs and weight gain as soon as we can get her blood pressure under control.  She is taking the meds well and is gaining weight steadily.  The first two weeks of her life were extremely difficult as we didn’t have a clue with what we were dealing with.  At three weeks she got a cold from the rest of us and ended up in the hospital for two days due to high fever.  My husband and I are both from the East Coast so we didn’t have any family here to help us with our toddler.  Other than that she has been very well.  We all have gotten colds again (it keeps going around) but it didn’t affect her this time.
