I am in Oregon also!! I only know of two other families with CAH children in Oregon and they are both boys. I have a 8 year old boy with SWCAH so I can’t give advice on the surgery, but I can be supportive. Michael is like others say, normal and healthy and you wouldn’t realize anything is wrong with him to look at him. He has had a typical life except maybe ill more than my other children with out it. He has developed just like all little boys his age. Only concern I have had lately is the weight, but we are going for labs this week and that might explain it.
