My political blog, which I write under the pseudonym "Jack Lewis" has been gaining traffic so that I’m now ranked about 600 or so out of the 10,000 some-odd blogs tracked. Last week I got mentioned on one of the really big blogs and got 6,000 visits in one day.

I just did a new entry about this story. I’m afraid my anger comes through loud and clear, but that may be a good thing. I also emailed a summary of it to about a dozen of the top bloggers. With the impact bloggers have been making lately, this is a good route to getting information out. If any one of the big ones pick up the story, dozens of the smaller blogs will repeat it. If enough noise is made, the main stream media may take note, and exercise a little more caution in misusing CAH in such a way.

Another avenue would be to write letters to the editors of papers/site that reprinted the AP story (a list can be found here). You can use my blog entry as sort of template for ideas, but make sure you use your words (editors can usually tell when they are getting copies of pre-written letters-to-the-editor)
