re: MSNBC article about "intersex"

It is my first message on the board. I thought long time ago to write a letter to my famous endocrinologist from JHH and ask him to do the best thing he could ever done for me , my daughter, and all of the kids with CAH: take away the term "intersex" from CAH website and change the whole philosophy of the approach to CAH. I want to explain to my doc that medical society’s dogmas about our kids do not work in the practical world. That a lot of times phycisians, articles in the magazines, and media’s "hot" programs, but  not androgens damage parents’ and  kids’ psychology. That most of the docs and reporters have absolutely no background in the field of basic psychology (such as, how to talk to parents, kids; what is necessarily and absolutely not to be done during the general medical assessment, what needs to said and what words can hurt people). I strongly believe that if all of us could at least approach our endo docs (writing letters, conversations), then  we can make a great difference in the future of our kids.  Thanks a lot for inspiration!
