re: Can steroids cause colic in CAH infants?

Hello. I can sympathize. My 5 1/2 month old SWCAH son also seemed to have stomach pain pretty frequently. He is a very happy go lucky guy, and I can tell when he’s got a tummy ache because he’s usually in a great mood. I even took him to the ER the day after Christmas because he seemed to be in such pain. He was up the whole night crying, and even vomited a few times. None of the doctors I ever told about his stomach pain seemed to take me seriously, until one finally listened and gave him a prescription for Zantac, and it has been a HUGE help. He hardly spits up at all now, which was a big problem before, and the stomach pain is MUCH less than before.
Hope this helps. I’m praying you and your baby get some relief soon.
