We have 2 boys, both SWCAH.  My first son (2 1/2 years old) never had colic problems -but sleep issues...a whole other story.  Now, my 2nd son (9 months old) had horrible colic -and I’m sorry to say it lasted until he was 5 1/2 months old.  He was on Zantac from when he was 3 days old, but only for 2 months -maybe he should’ve been on it longer?  We used gripe water for the colic, and though it helped some, it started giving him constipation issues -which as you can imagine, made the colic problem 100x worse!  So....we stopped that.  There were many times when he couldn’t sleep at all during the night -his tummy was so hard & he just cried & cried...it was horrible.  On the better days, it generally came on around 5 annnd lasted until bed -classic colic.  My prayers & good wishes are with you -hang in there, it will end! -and maybe ask your pediatrican about reflux/Zantac.  Both are boys are such happy guys -so when the colic came on, I really noticed it -and he would try to smile through it -it still tugs at my heart to think about it.
