TonieBonnie took the words out of my mouth. For one thing, we are replacing what the body doesn’t produce, so there shouldn’t be any elevated levels of medications in the body unless he/she is getting too much. Also, I agree that they’re different categories of steroids. I would suggest asking the endocrinologist. Also, you could probably get a letter from his/her endo stating that the child takes x amount of x medication for CAH and putting that in his school records or give to his coach, etc. if it EVER came up.
And, if it became a problem, I’m sure the ACLU would be there for you. :)
