circadium rhythm dosing to anon from pg. 2

Sorry I didn’t get back sooner I was out of town.   We dose 5 times a day.  Yes we try to go by the percentages but to tell the truth, with cutting the pills, we are only sure of the total amount in 24 hours not each individual dose.  We cut the 3am and 7am dose larger and the doses get smaller throughout the day.  Yes, it’s an approximation but our endo is all right with it.  Until they come out with a 1 mg pill of cortef or a time release or something else this is the best we can do.  Like I said we know for sure how much se gets in 24 hours.  Also, with physician advice, I would keep the 3am at 3am and give the wake up dose as soon as the child wakes up if you don’t want to wake up at 7am instead of 8am.  Good luck.  Julia
