My daughter had her’s removed a year or so ago. She is 7 with SWCAH. She had no complications at all. She seems so much more healthier now. She too has allergies, and SNORED so bad. She sleeps so much better without that darn snoring. As a matter of fact we ALL sleep better now that she isn’t snoring! Since she never had strep throat (knock on wood) we apted the easier way to go and just took the adenoids out and not the tonsils,  to avoid any extra stress. Good luck!
