Laura:

My non CAH son is 6 and has always snored terribly.  He never gets sore throats really so I don’t think he needs his tonsils out but his snoring is not too great for all of us!  Do you think just removing the adenoids and not the tonsils will definitely help with the snoring or would he have to get his tonsils done too?  I obviously would prefer to keep his tonsils as he doesn’t get sore throats  but I would rather not have to put him to sleep twice if there is a high chance that just removing the adenoids won’t help.  What I’m trying to say is, if there is a high chance that just removing the adenoids will help, then we’ll go for that but if usually just removing the adenoids won’t help (and you have just been lucky), then I would rather get them both done at the same time.

Any comments from anyone would be much appreciated.  Thanks!

Thanks!
