Just to be sure that Michael tolerates the new ones, switch them back and forth with the old ones till eventually he is on the new ones. I hope that makes sense. What I am trying to say is introduce him to them gradually.

I have to start any new medication like that, and a smaller dose, and build up over time to the proper dose.

I almost died a few years ago, when I was given a new medicine for the ulcerative colitis, which I also have. It took it two weeks to build up in my system, and then sent me to the emergency room, and intensive care, for 5 days. Then the doctors thought that the medicine couldn’t have caused it, so they had me try it again, with same results after one pill. Then they tried to give me the sister drug to it, and one pill and back to emergency room. Because of this, I always start on a smaller dose and bring it upslowly.

Hope Michael is doing better now that his cold is over!!  o:)
