Hello Doris-  It’s nice to see you visiting the board.  I truly 100% understand the lost feeling on what to do to help.  My mom has explained to me many times that she really wants to help so much but is at a loss on what to do.  Your love and support is a very big part to play in it.  If you contact Kelly Leight from CARES Foundation she could send you some literature that might help you out.  The website at CARES is wonderful and you can get many tips and information from there also.  I have a 13 month old baby girl and by no means am I an expert but I feel like I know enough that if you would want to talk to me I would be more than willing to answer any questions you have.  If I can’t answer them directly I will do everything I can to find an answer for you.  If you would like to call me please feel free to call anytime I do not mind what so ever.  If it hadn’t been for a few parents that I was able to actually connect with and talk to I don’t know what I would have done.  I live in Louisville, KY so it will be long distance for you but remember you can call anytime my number is 502-499-0313.  Take care Doris things do get easier and you all will feel more comfortable as time goes by.  I can say there is always a little bit of worry when my child gets a bug but even the stomach bugs get easier I think after you have been thru a few of them.

Talk to you soon-  Dana Rush
