Hi Susan

My guess is yes, because the pathway for the creation of steroids comes from bile etc so it must have an effect on CAH people.  I also suffer from high cholesterol which again I feel comes from the CAH. Many medicos probably wouldn’t agree but if you think things through not using the products properly must have an effect somewhere else so guess where!!

However in the general population they say that at any time there is abou 70 - 80% of population who has gall stones and knows nothing about it.

I had mine out about 25 years ago - still can’t eat anything and everything but it really beats having the pain of the stones.

So go for it. My girlfriend - nonCAH also had hers out several years ago but still suffers from the occasional attack of stones.

I guess it depends on your diet and your body.
