Hello there,

    My Wife and I are first time parents and our 6 month old daughter has CAH.  We live in Oregon and have been going to OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital for her extra care.  I was looking around on the internet about CAH and found this web site a couple of days ago.  From the looks of it, it is a very good and helpful site.  So we just wanted to let you know we are out here and wish you all the best. 

If there are any others in Oregon area we would love to hear from you (and of course the rest of you too :o) 

We have been giving our daughter Prednisolone and Fludrocortisone.  Although so far she has not really shown any signs of loosing salt, she still gets the Flud.   Is this what you have all been using or are there other treatments that we have not heard of yet? 

The last couple of months also our daughter has not had much of an appetite and has not gained weight.  They have been lowering her Prednisolone and so we hope this helps.  Any ideas or experience with this?
