Ariel, sounds similar to what we went thru for quite a while. Our rule of thumb was he had to keep Cortef down 60 minutes. Less than that, we would re-medicate in 30 minutes and if he threw that up, we would give Solu-Cortef injection and take him right to the ER for IV fluids. The remarkable thing was how quickly an IV would straighten him out. Don’t mess around with illnesses, give injection first, and ask questions later. When I think of the poor advice we received (mainly from "The Gods") oops, I mean the "The doctors", he is only alive by the grace of the real God.AndyNow that our son is 8, he is doing much better. The best thing to happen was removing his adenoids. He use to gag at everything and throw up just looking at most things. Now he is much better with gagging/vomiting and is gaining weight (up to 75%tile) for the first time in his life.
good luck and don’t hesitate to post your questions.
