We worked with Dr. Marks from Doernbecher at first and as soon as the screening came back positive they ran additional bloodwork.  Gabe’s sodium was really low and his potassium was really high.  Dr. Marks suggested to our pediatrician to hospitalize him and put him on Cortef, Florinef and a sodium drip until we could get him stabilized.  We started working with Dr. Woods when Gabe was a month old and we had our first trip to Doernbecher.
