As a 3/4 grade teacher, I’ve never been into pushing these drugs on kids. Recently, one of my students was put on meds for ADHD. This was mom’s and doctor’s idea. Anyway, I am almost taken aback at the difference. This child can now focus and read and follow along when someone else is reading. He is the first on task and wanting to answer questions, even if he’s not always right he’s willing to try. THe main thing is he is HAPPY instead of constantly frustrated. He smiles and seems content. It is remarkable. ADHD is real. I know that meds are overprescribed but a chemical imbalance in the brain can really be the cause. If the meds weren’t working we’d know and he’d be bouncing off the walls. Anyway, I am sooo glad you are having a similar positive experience. Take care! JuliaJulia S
