Yes, I think I remember reading in one of the studies something about this but I think it was only in the lab and it was never proven to have that effect on the babies. You can call Dr. New’s office and speak to their new genetics counselor and ask her.  Ann Carlson is no longer with Dr. New and I know she would have known. I think another thing I worried about was hydrocephalus.   I had an ultrasound every month to check that.  Everything turned out fine. You just have to have the correct dose. Again, I would suggest you call Dr. New’s office and see if they can get in contact with your ob.
