Sandra, the test was taken before they started him on the hydrocortisone. The nurse in the Endocrinology Dept of our local hospital told me today that since this test was normal, he does not have CAH, but then why is he still on the hydrocortisone and why are his cortisol levels low and also a "lowish" glucose level (between 80-60)? Is there a difference between an adrenal insufficiency and CAH?
