just one more thing. anytime that anyone is put on steroids, their blood sugar will go up. that is a side effect of steroids in general. i am sure (at least i hope) that the docs are taking this into consideration.  why are they assuming there is ANY sort of adrenal problem???? unfortunately they can not check cortisol levels to see if they have come up if the child is on exogenous cortisol (ie. cortef)..... i sure hope they figure this one out. keep us posted.
