And that is why I put in my post that some have it harder than others.  I would never take away from the surgeries that some CAH girl need.  CAH though,  is much more than virlized girls.  I just don’t want anybody feeling sorry for CAH kids....when put into perspective there are lots of other worse conditions they could have had.    I would say that most CAH kids, after diagnosed, don’t die from CAH.  Maybe I shoud just state that I don’t want anybody feeling sorry for MY CAH kids because I thank God that they have this and not something that would have left them a vegetable or unable to have  a "normal" life.

I think people need to understand that yes it can be deadly if not diagnosed at infancy but once treated and once you have the right information on how to deal with a crisis, should a real one occur, CAH does should not kill them. Can it happen...sure....lots of things to happen to kids....lets just not make them a poster for pity!
