Louisehi there! just wanted to say that i completely agree with you and your responses. i work in the ICU and just yesterday a young man came in with down’s syndrome. he has pneumonia and will probably die. literally, the next person to come in was a 19 year old with spina bifada who is paralyzed and then strolled in a 16 year old that was paralyzed from a car accident. that morning before i went into work i had been feeling sorry for myself and my little guy with cah b/c he had just had a renal ultrasound (which was fine) and has to have labs on friday. puts things in perspective. naturally i wish we weren’t dealing with cah, but i know your point was simply that there is much worse out there and at our children DO at least have a shot at a very fulfilling, long life. for that i am most thankful!
