I don’t mean to sound like I’m just so happy that my boys have CAH and that life is perfect....I wish they didn’t have CAH.  Life is not perfect. It’s life. No one wants their child to have anything.   But even the TX newborn screening nurse told me, almost 4 years ago,  while I was crying on the phone with her, she said that out of all of the conditions she knows of and if she had to pick one for her own child to have, she would pick CAH. 

 I just wish people wouldn’t be so doomsday about it.  Let’s give it the respect it deserves and make it the best we can....better yet....lets find a CURE!

P.S.  I think your grand daughter is lucky to have you in her life.  That is what our kids need most, a strong family support with lots of love.  With that all is possible.
