re: re: Beginning of crisis??

I’m wondering the same thing as Darlene: how old is your daughter?? My dd - who’s now 7 - had a similar "episode" when she was about 2 and it scared the life out of me! I thought she was going into crisis for sure, but she hadn’t had a bedtime snack (just wasn’t hungry that evening - we’d had a late dinner), didn’t drink anything but water in the night and woke up VERY dizzy, eyes rolling around a bit, starting stumbling ... and I freaked! We dashed for the ER and it turns out her blood-sugar was VERY low; after some orange juice, she perked right up. I considered getting a glucometer, but she’s never had a problem since. Our endo did say that she should have something to drink before bed, and - especially if she’s not feeling well - to have something sugary (and maybe salty too??) in the middle of the night - NOT water!! If she never did come down with any illness, perhaps this was the cause? Hope you can get to the bottom of it! Blesings,

Wendy-Lee
