Mine 8 yrs old now SWCAH takes 1mg florinef in am & cortes 3x a day 5mg am 2.5 mg in afternoon & 5mg at bedtime. He wa also like that more so when he was about that age. Kept adjusting meds. Put him on a strict schedule and he is fine now. I really believe it that schedule it has made his levels normal for the last 4 years.  morning 8am afternoon 2-3pm and evening 8:00.
