Crystal, I doubt your doctor is a specialist in CAH and therefore really knows the ins and outs of the condition. There are medical papers that state that if steroid medication is stopped for a while fertility can become affected but in males when it is taken up again, in most cases it is restored.  I would take your doctors advice as well meant as she didn’t want you to get your hopes up too high, without any guarantees but I would wait and see what the endo says for more accurate information.  Keep us posted!
