Thank you for your input, Martha.  It is fascinating how genes work.  Both my husband and I don’t know of any deaths or sufferers from our sides of the families, so maybe they were carriers only or managed to escape it totally and my daughter is the first SWCAH person we are aware of in our family.  Thank you again for replying.
