My grandson 8 yrs has SWCAH. He also when a baby used sodium chloride in his bottle. His endo stopped this when he started on foods. We have never gave  him extra salt. He takes 1 florinef each am. She expressed that was enough. He also loves pickles. Eats them all the time. Ketchup on everything. As a joke we went to Sams Club which sells in bulk. We found this gigantic bottle of ketchup for him. lol. He also used to eat spoons of butter!!!!!!! That is pure salt. His labs always come out fine. The endo does ask at each visit if he craves salt. She new of a child that would eat salt that comes on a stick. I think they lived on a farm.
