I know this isn’t the norm here in the U.S. but with our first son (SWCAH) we gave him table salt mixed into water for only a month - and with our 2nd son (also SWCAH), we gave him salt for 1 week.  Their levels were always fine.  We do give our 1st son 1 florinef in the morning and our 9 month old takes 1 florinef in the morning & 1 in the evening.  I would talk to your endo & see what she or he thinks -and what you guys think.  We were told as they got older, the salt in the foods should be fine in addition to their florinef -the thing is though, I hardly ever cook with much salt.  My oldest does love pretzels & crackers though.  We’ll see with our 9 month old.  Best wishes!
