I am a mother of a 18 month-old girl; we live in Budapest, Hungary; so probably the CAH screening protocolls, as well as the acceptable 17-OHP levels may be different, than in the US.

As far as our endo told us, the 17-OHP levels are varying a lot over the different periods of the day. It is the highest in the morning, and the lowest in the evening. An acceptable 17-OHP level in 7am would be extremely high at 7pm. I don’t have the ranges with me right now, but I will check them; we were given min-max. 17-OHP values for 5 different hours of the day: 7am,9am,1pm,3pm and 7pm.
