When do you draw with your CAH child

All people, whether children or adults are affected by the steroids. Steroids seem to bring anger to the for front. I have always had problems with it. I did not have the benifit of therapy sessions, and I am sure my mom wondered what to do more than once. I have had lots of butt warmings, and while they probably helped me with the problem, they won’t stop the anger.

It wasn’t until just a few years ago that I finally agreed that I was depredded, which is also a side effect from steroids. In my case, Prozac works the best. I have to take 80 mg. per day, which is a bunch, but it controls most of the rage inside. I still can get angry in a heart beat, but not with the rage I used to have. I also work on my anger problem in a 12 step group, and lots of prayer with GOD.

You boy can not help himself when he gets angry. He wants to, but because of the steroids, he can’t.  Help him with a visit to a counsuler and see if anti-depressants might not be in order, and show him lots of love and affection.

These are just my own opinions, I am no doctor.
